Play free every day, or put a stake on it and play for the pot.

Free matches#

You get 3 free matches every day. They reset at midnight Washington time (New York). You play a real rival with nothing at stake. Free matches count for your record, but not for Daily 3 or the weekly board.

Stake matches#

Pick an amount and you are paired with a rival who picked the same. Both stakes lock at kickoff.

Result	What you get
Win	95% of the pot (both stakes), paid straight to your wallet
Draw	Your stake back minus the 5% match fee
Loss, quit or forfeit	Your stake goes to your rival

Stake amounts are set in dollars ($2, $5, $15, $25, $50, $75 and $100) and shown in $BALL at the current price. You can also enter a custom amount; you then meet a rival who picked exactly the same amount.

Only stake matches count for Daily 3 and the weekly board.

Finding a rival#

Matchmaking pairs you by stake and connection speed. Most matches start within seconds; at quiet times it can take up to a minute. If nobody turns up at smaller stakes, a practice opponent may step in.

Warm-up#

Practise offline against the computer at four levels: Novice, Marksman, Guard and Legend. Choose 60 seconds, 90 seconds or 2 minutes. No stake, no energy, and it does not count for anything.
